Dry Tears

Years have passed. Tis here again.
Can’t feel nothing but the pain.
Since water cascaded on my head.
To hide the tears that ebbed.
The steam that hissed as fury rose.
The glass that broke ‘neath fists closed.
A bottomless drop – still falling.
Trying so hard but still ain’t stopped.
Tears: they flow in endless streams.
Watering the land of broken dreams.
Draining the fountains inside.
The dearth of a civilization that died.
Draining away the life-giving tide.
Till nothing was left save dry tears to cry.
